Mondays' Memory

Like most families, Saturday's in the Weathers household meant cleaning. Laaaawwwts of cleaning. Well, it seemed like a lot at the time! The house I grew up in was built in the 1970's I believe and it had this nifty little speaker system that went througout the entire house and out the back door. We had some fun times with it, but that has nothing to do with this memory. On the speaker system was a radio at the "mother-board" in the kitchen area. One beautiful Saturday in April of 1998 a couple of sisters and I were listening to what I'm sure was a pretty rad song of that time period. Could have been 'Truly Madly Deeply' by Savage Garden, 'Brick' by Ben Folds Five, or 'Iris' by the Goo Goo Dolls. Whatever it was, I'm sure it was a rock song because that's how we rolled ;). Trying to put some excitement into our Saturday spring cleaning we formed a band with our cleaning supplies and rocked out hard core. Someone snapped a picture and here you have it, enjoy:

“Life seems but a quick succession of busy nothings.” – Jane Austen

I feel like there is so much to do I don't even know where to start. Sorry for the lack of blogging if anyone out there cares! We arrived in Idaho just over a week ago and we have yet to finish unpacking. We both started work or school a couple days after getting here and now we leave Friday to head up to Spokane. My baby brother gets home from his mission tomorrow! Time flies...
