Cousins and Such

Since moving to Washington Dominic is missing Grandma and Grandpa Muir, his uncles, and Aunt Karisa. He does get to be around all five of his cousins, though! Plus, he's getting to know his other grandparents and aunts and uncles.

I've been trying to keep us busy so we won't miss Tyler so much and I think we've been pretty successful. Below I've posted about 40 photos of what we've been up to and they are in chronological order...for the most part. :)

I love this picture! Dominic is not a cuddler...at all! I couldn't believe he did this and it was one of the first mornings we were in town. So cute.

Eating blackberries for the first time.

He thought it was fun to climb inside the lockers at the YMCA.

Swimming with cousins at the Y.

Bath time with his only boy cousin. They love each other!

Dominic's new cousin Roslyn. She was born September 13th and he yells "baby!" every time he sees her.

There was an army truck at the Spokane Interstate Fair. He was way more excited about it than these pictures show.

Harker cousins having fun at the fair...

"Bahpa" (that's how Dominic says grandpa), reading them a story.

I remember always playing under my grandparents recliners as a child.

This little squirt is doing this in all sorts of cupboards/coffee table/entertainment center/anything he thinks he can fit in!

Watching grandpa mow the lawn. He stood like this for a good 15 minutes.

Helping hang his swing in the tree and enjoying the results!

 Enjoying feeding himself some spaghetti.

This last weekend we went to a place called Greenbluff. It's basically a collection of farms out in the country by Mt. Spokane. These farms have pick your own fruit/pumpkins/Christmas trees, depending on the season. They have other fun activities to do also...

(My face explains it all...)

At the park in a giant metal pumpkin.

Fresh out of the bath. This is right before he tripped on the towel and face planted because he couldn't catch himself since his arms were all wrapped up. Poor boy!

Well, I hope you enjoyed the update. I'll admit I didn't enjoy doing it. Maybe that will keep me motivated in staying caught up...maybe...

A Big Change

First off, sorry for the lack of posting. Life has been crazy to say the least!

As many of you know, I have spent the better part of the last decade in a small college town called Rexburg, ID. After my freshman year in college there I hated the place and was determined never to return! Ha ha... I guess you could say it was never in my plans to spend most of my 20's there, but life is unexpected, right?

Anyway, about six weeks ago we packed up our life there and headed in separate directions. Tyler went to the Rolf Institute in Boulder, CO while I headed to Spokane, WA to stay with my parents. It has been pretty hard being away from each other. Of course Tyler and I miss each other, but I feel especially bad him since he's been away from his little boy and that little boy hasn't seen his dad for six weeks! The good news is Tyler will be joining us in Washington in exactly a week from today! Yay!!!

Here are some photos we took before we left Idaho. I will do another post today of all the shenanigans we've been up to here in WA.
