Kids Say...

the most rediculous things!

In class this afternoon I'm helping one of my special ed kids in his home room social studies class. I just sit there and make sure he is following along in the book, etc. Anyway, the teacher is talking about the convention in Philadelphia where the 55 men met to discuss the future of our country. My story goes like this:

Teacher, "Now, none of the men were aloud to talk about what they were discussing during the convention."

Little Girl #1, "Not even with their family?"

Teacher, "Not with anyone!"

Little Boy, "Not even their wives?"

Teacher, "Not even with their wives, no one!"

Little Girl #2 sitting next to me whispers, "Yeah cause wives blab a lot."

I think I was the only one who heard her. I certainly had to try not to laugh. Where do they get this stuff from?

Lamest Blogger Ever

Yes, I have just given myself the title of "The Lamest Blogger EVER". Seriously, I feel like everyone has fun and exciting things to write about. I talked to a good friend on the phone yesterday. She was telling me all about her move to Vegas, her husbands new job, their new puppy, house hunting, etc. Then she asked what was new with me...It took me a significant amount of time to think of something worth sharing. "We're moving to Austin for the summer." That's all I could come up with. Ahhh, there is nothing I hate more than a boring life. Please, please help me find something exciting to do to entertain myself. I'm desperate.

OK on a more positive note, wait this isn't positive. We are moving to TEXAS this summer. Talk about lame. No offense all you Texans out there, but I would say that Texas was on my top ten places I didn't want to go. I've never even been there, but the thought of flat dry ugly land and millions of people with Texas pride has really turned me off. Can I say that one of my pet peeves is people with Texas pride? I guess I can because, this is my blog :)
