Wow, it's been a long month! Since my last post Tyler graduated with his bachelors in biology, we went on a two week vacation through California, he worked like crazy on fixing the apartments his parents rent out, we went to a family reunion in Boise, and who knows what else! I have lots of pictures with lots of updating to do and I'm finding a hard time mustering the energy to do it. I posted a lot on Facebook, but I know I need to record this stuff on here. I think I will save the vacation post for next time, though.
So, here are a few pics from graduation and the family reunion...
Tyler's parents drove their boat all the way from Rexburg to Boise and the day we took it out they rode on it once before the starter went out! So, we just had our picnic and played with the tubes...in and out of the water...
Most of the reunion consisted of eating food, but we also enjoyed playing games and going to a baptism. Here is a three generation picture we took right before we left.
Now for a little update on our Dominic...
He finally is walking on his own. He's been walking a little for quite a while, but now he actually lets go of things and walks across the room by himself. He's even gotten the hang of maneuvering around things so he doesn't trip and fall.
He has become a bit of a talker lately also. His favorite thing to say, "Uh oh spaghettio". The "spaghettio" part doesn't really sound like it, but we all know what he is saying. He can also say thank you, love you, and all done. There are other things that he has said once just copying me, but hasn't said them again. He mostly likes to babble his own little language.
He loves attention, which isn't a surprise since he gets a lot of it at home. At the reunion this weekend an entire room full of family just watched and laughed at everything he did for a good hour. It sure is going to be rough on him when we move away and this new baby shows up...no more center of attention!
He LOVES tractors, and motorcycles, and cars, and planes, and trains, OK anything with an engine! I think this is to be expected though since he is a boy.
He's starting to be more and more daring climbing up on things. It's only a matter of time before I find him at the top of a bookshelf or something.
We've been able to take out a few things we bought for him in Texas a year ago, like some cute Nike Air Jordans and a little yellow rain coat. He looks like such a big boy with his tennies on!
His hair is getting so long! It has lots of curls in the back just like his dad had when he was a baby. I know if I cut them off they will never return! He is starting to look a little girly though.
Anyway, here are all the random pictures I have taken lately. Enjoy!
This is how he likes to sit in hus jumper now.
Showcasing the curls.
I like to call them his "cool kid kicks". I'm a nerd, I know.
It finally rained about a month ago so he could wear his rain coat.
I've caught him like this several times...
I think they're watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Climbing in things and making a mess of course.
They tore up the road and sidewalk outside our place so there are tactors parked out there all the time. Dominic makes his vroom noises everytime he sees them.

you're good to give it a try, catching up that is. I have obviously given up on the blog for the time being.
Favorite picture: Sleeping baby with hand in toy box!
That kid cracks me up!
He's getting big fast, I love that he's walking now. Lahna is going to love showing him "the ropes" when he gets here. She'll have a tag along instead of just being the tag-along.
congrats tyler on graduating!!! Your lookin so cute preggers Kim! miss ya, love the pics!
