I especially love weddings when I get to travel! Tyler's "Best Man" at our wedding just got married almost two weeks ago. His now lovely wife is from North Carolina, but they were sealed in the Washington, DC LDS Temple. We flew out of Texas on Thursday. Our hotel was by the Baltimore airport so we just hung out there for the night. Friday we went to the sealing in the morning, stayed after for pictures, went to the lunch-in, and then had a few hours for site seeing that night. One of my good friends and her husband were part of the wedding party so we stayed with them in a beautiful hotel right in the middle of DC. The next morning we had about 2 hours to do a little more site seeing before we made the 6 hour drive to North Carolina for the reception. North Carolina was lovely, along with the reception! Looks fun! I love visiting all the historical sites and the hustle and bustle of the east. DC was the temple I grew up going to and is still my most favorite...I think its beautiful! Much better summer than we are having in the good ole burg
SO FUN! DC is awesome! We were there for the 4th last year. Did you love it? Where are you guys at this summer? We're in Chicago. Loving it! Great group this summer, lots of wives, lots of kids. Did you get to do a session...we never did :( I hear you get to sit by your man...so cool. Gotta do it someday!
